What a lovely place! The best Welsh rarebit I've ever had. Great service, great food.... Just been back and it's still great, they do soup and cakes too. Well worth a visit!

Recommended by a friend and somewhere we often pass on the way to Swansea. I'm no expert but this place does the best rarebit I have ever had in Wales! I tried the Stout Irish but will be having Spanish Chorizo next time. The staff are lovely and there is a real family business feel to the place.

Passed this on the way to a donkey walking experience. Popped in on the way back. Didn't disappoint. Lovely setting. Food was delicious, various rarebit options on the menu. Good selection of cakes, cold and hot drinks. Shop selling Welsh goodies. (Sauces, juice, preserves, chocolate and gifts,) We parked up the hill in a parking bay. It's labeled from the road with a blue 'P' sign. Others parked on the road.

A bit off the main road but what a delicious cultural experience. Friendly, knowledgeable service. We could have stayed all day chatting with the owner. Thoroughly enjoyed the Spanish chorizo and spring leek special Welsh rarebits with a cup of Tuscan chickpea soup and colourful salad. Yes! We still had room for cake! Have a look at the art exhibit upstairs in this former schoolhouse. Don’t miss Britain’s oldest yew tree in the churchyard just up the road. Watch for red kites soaring overhead.

Lovely cafe selling lots of local bits and bobs and delicious food and coffee. Stopped by and made it just before closing - I recommend the Spanish chiorizo one! Lovely host and cyclist friendly.

Wow. Popular place midweek October. This place turns cheese on toast into an art form. Absolutely delicious rarebit, and the cakes as well. And friendly staff. Had a very enjoyable late lunch here.

The best Rarebit in Wales. Don’t miss this stop. Apple Chutney homemade amazing.

Beautiful brunch before heading home from holiday nearby, we had the Korean kimchi and Spanish chorizo rarebits and both were excellent. Good hot drinks and a great selection of cakes. The building is lovely, as well as the gift shop! Probably worth calling ahead to book on weekends/holidays as I can see this getting busy. Would definitely eat here again!
